Membership Application

Membership in the Scottish Clans of Canada Education Fund is voluntary. All individuals, societies, and organizations interested in furthering the promotion and preservation of Scottish culture in Canada are welcome.

The Scottish Clans of Canada Education Fund consists of a Board of Directors and several working committees. Activity is conducted electronically (e-mail and/or Skype) with a formal Annual General Meeting of the Membership.

The objectives of the Fund:

1. To advance education by providing bursaries and financial relief to students* who wish to pursue post-secondary education with a focus on Celtic studies at an accredited Canadian University.

2. To advance education by providing bursaries to students* wishing to study Celtic music, the Gaelic Language, and/or highland dance in an educational institution providing requisite training.

3. To advance education by providing instructional classes: in the Gaelic language; Gaelic history; genealogy; and/or, highland music/dance.

* Competition may be based on need.
